Fourth time's the charm? "The Bachelor" star Nick Viall is keeping his fingers crossed.

ABC announced the premiere date for Viall's season of the reality dating show: Monday, Jan. 2, 2017. This will be the 36-year-old tech salesman's fourth time on the show: He was runner-up in Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe's seasons of "The Bachelorette," and he appeared on "Bachelor in Paradise" this past summer.

"After all these years, and all the heartbreak, it's finally Nick's turn to hand out the roses. Will he finally find that love he's craved? He believes in finding love on the series and hopes it is his time now," ABC said in a statement.

"The Bachelor" also recently released the first promo, featuring Viall looking dapper in a suit and handing out roses over the sounds of screaming women. Host Chris Harrison recently teased that fans can expect some waterworks this season -- and not only from the female contestants.

"[Nick] hit a little low point, as all of the 'Bachelors' do. You kind of reach this emotional bottom where you get stripped down," he said, then referenced prevous bachelor Jason Mesnick. "If you know what a Mesnick is, I will let you know that he pulled a full Mesnick. There will be man tears on this season for sure."
