"The Shape of Water" won 4 awards, including Best Picture and Best Director, at last night's Critics' Choice Awards, which were handed out in Santa Monica, CA. "The Big Sick" nabbed Best Comedy, while Best Action Movie went to "Wonder Woman" and "Get Out" won "Best Sci-Fi or Horror Movie."

The film acting categories was a virtual repeat of the Golden Globes, with awards going to "Darkest Hour" lead Gary Oldman, "I Tonya" bad mom Allison Janney, and "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" stars Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell. James Franco (who was a no-show), repeated his Globe win, but Margot Robbie triumphed over "Lady Bird" Globe winner Saoirse Ronan.

On the TV side, "The Handmaid's Tale," "Big Little Lies" and Sterling K. Brown repeated their Globe wins, as did surprise comedy winner "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel."
