"The Society" will continue to build. Netflix has renewed the teen "Lord of the Flies"-esque drama for a second season.

Created by Chris Keyser, the show follows a group of teens who are mysteriously trapped in a facsimile of their wealthy New England town — one without any trace of their parents. There's no way out, and at first, their newfound freedom is fun. But it also proves dangerous and even deadly. They must establish order and form alliances in order to survive, all while trying to figure out how to return home.

The cast includes Kathryn Newton, Sean Berdy, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Jacquies Colimon, Olivia DeJonge, Alex Fitzalan and Grace Victoria Cox.

Production on Season 2 will begin later this year, with a premiere date slated for 2020.
