"This Is Us." But she's hoping to find some time to go back to her first love: music.

"I want to return to music," Moore told People. "I don't have a record label, but I have a lot of music written. Next year, I've decided I'm putting it out there!"

Moore last released an album in 2009, "Amanda Leigh." Since then, she married and divorced singer Ryan Adams. She is on a hit TV show, which is gearing up for its second season. She made the shark attack movie "47 Meters Down." And she's also partnering with Merck on "Her Life. Her Adventures" campaign which encourages women to explore birth control options.

The 33-year-old actress reiterated her goal to make music in a Glamour interview.

"You find the time to do something you're passionate about and you want, and I do want it. I've gotta figure it out and just go for it because I miss expressing myself that way," she said. " It's a whole different skill set than I get to employ with my job on 'This Is Us.' I'm lucky that my job now affords me the opportunity to sing and that definitely lit a fire within me."

She added, "I live with a musician [boyfriend Taylor Goldsmith], we sing together all the time, and music is a constant theme in my life. It has been for the past eight years. I've just gotta navigate my way back to it."
