A new theme park is coming to Universal Orlando Resorts.

The resort announced that a fourth park, called Universal's Epic Universe, is under construction in Florida. It is described as an "entirely new level of experience that forever changes theme park entertainment" and sees "beloved stories expand into vibrant lands."

The new park will be located inside a larger 750-acre site that will include an entertainment center, hotels, shops, restaurants and more. The park itself will consist of a hub and spoke design seen in the first concept art (above).

Universal Orlando promises Epic Universe will feature "experiences beyond your wildest imagination” via new rides, including at least two new roller coasters.

The larger site will nearly double Universal's acreage in Florida and is located several miles from Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay.

Universal Orlando did not give a timeline for the park's completion.
