The company has reached a new multi-picture deal with IMAX that will give moviegoers the option to see several of the studio's upcoming, high-profile films in the special film format. "Blade Runner 2049," "Ready Player One," and "Kong: Skull Island" will all get IMAX runs, according to Variety.

"We're proud to re-up our 13-year partnership with the Warner Bros. family," said Greg Foster, CEO of IMAX Entertainment, in a statement. "This extension includes titles from some of the industry's most acclaimed filmmakers, such as our friends Christopher Nolan, Steven Spielberg, David Ellison, David Heyman, and David Yates."

All in all, the new deal will impact as many as 12 upcoming Warner Bros. films. The studio hasn't announced each of the affected titles yet, but rest assured that numerous projects in the pipeline lend themselves well to IMAX. The options include films like the "Fantastic Beasts" sequels, the "LEGO Batman Movie," "Minecraft," and more DC Extended Universe additions.
