If you just can't wait to see Val Kilmer, and you thought that you had to wait until 'Top Gun: Maverick' is released, we have good news for you. Kilmer will appear in 'Paydirt' next month.

Here's the official synopsis for the film:

A parolee teams up with his old crew determined to find a buried bag of cash stolen five years ago from a DEA bust gone bad, while being tracked by a retired Sheriff.

Kilmer is playing the Sheriff, and Luke Goss is playing the parolee. Mike Hatton is co-starring, and this film marks the debut of Mercedes Kilmer (Val's daughter).

'Paydirt' will be available in theaters, on demand and digital on August 7.
