Season 1 Episodes
1. Episode 1
Chiara is convinced that her husband is cheating on her, but the certainty exists only in her mind. For this reason the woman cannot help but control him constantly, thus entering into endless paranoia. The object of her frustration is her new neighbor Manuela, whose life she makes unbearable with constant stalking, causing her to fall into fear and desperation. Manuela tries to talk to the people close to Chiara — her mother-in-law, her husband himself — and the police, but no one is able to grasp the warning signs of a tragedy that will result in a brutal murder.
2. Episode 2
It is the trauma of abandonment — the suicide of the mother and the escape of the father — that strengthens Marta's hand to the point of killing the very person who, paradoxically, could represent the only way out for a better life.
3. Episode 3
It is the nightmare of loneliness and poverty that has tormented Anna Maria's existence since childhood and convinced her that there is only one way forward to be happy: marry a rich man, kill him, and inherit his fortune.
4. Episode 4
Patrizia's apparently peaceful life is marked by the greatest horror: incest. Her constant requests for help from her mother and the outside world will go unheard, causing the family to implode into a black hole.
5. Episode 5
Lisa is disappointed in love, but decides to bet everything on a new relationship. However, when lies get in the way of her new relationship, she decides that the time has come to bury not only the relationship, but also those responsible for her unhappiness.
6. Episode 6
In love, Margherita is obsessed with perfection: anyone who is not perfect is not only not worthy of being with her, but deserves to be eliminated. When she finally seems to have found the perfect man, however, dissatisfaction forcefully comes back to the surface and the chain of murders continues its course.
7. Episode 7
Laura's obsession is to bury the past: a murky past made up of bad marriages that have indelibly marked the relationship with her daughter Floriana. When after years Laura decides to reopen herself to love, the past forcefully comes back to the fore to swallow mother and daughter once again in their tragic destiny.
8. Episode 8
The burning passion will overwhelm two women with diametrically opposed lives — one an aspiring novice and the other a failed actress — until a tragic and unexpected epilogue.
