The two dead lovers were buried together under a Takian tree. Hundreds of years passed, however, Praethong could not enter the rebirth cycle due to committing suicide. Instead, she became the mother of Wangtakhian, an entity revered by the villagers. All she could do now was wait to meet her lover Muen Khiri again."
