Rudolph, a comic force on "SNL," can speak volumes with the tilt of an eyebrow. She and Krasinski, of "The Office," are absolutely extraordinary. Ditto the film, which sneaks up and floors you. show more

One can almost feel the movie Away We Go might have been, if only we could believe that Verona loves Burt - or understand why Burt loves Verona. show more

The unassuming performances by Krasinski and Rudolph help make this the first Mendes movie that feels lived-in rather than staged. show more

If we learn anything from Away We Go, it’s that a lack of ambition might not be such a bad thing after all. show more

Though it's nice to see Mendes take a looser, not quite so studied approach to his filmmaking, some stops along the way -- like a detour to visit Burt's suddenly single brother (Paul Schneider) -- feel dramatically off-course. show more

Like "Juno" or "Little Miss Sunshine," Away We Go is a small film, the kind of gem that's easy to crush with hype or overpraise. But, the fact is that few movies deal with feelings this profound with as much restraint as Mendes and his crew display here. show more

Burt and Verona are two characters rarely seen in the movies: thirtysomething, educated, healthy, self-employed, gentle, thoughtful, whimsical, not neurotic and really truly in love. show more

Some episodes are funnier than others, but they're all underscored by a pervasive melancholy. show more

Away We Go is not as dramatically wrenching as "Revolutionary Road," but it's unquestionably more enjoyable. show more

i thought the chemistry between the two characters was amazing. John Krasinski is brilliant with the snappy remarks and snarky humor towards life, but then Maya Rudolph steps out of the shadows of SNL and pulls the loving couple together. yes the couple was different from most others in movies but you could tell that both actors were completely in the zone for the love that the two characters show for eachother. i give it an A++ keep them coming Mendes.

Young couple relationships are examined in this drama-comedy. Entertaining but bland.

Absolutely one of the worst movies I have ever seen. NO chemistry between the characters-just dull, boring and way too long. Don't even see it on DVD.

Loved this movie so much. I almost never see movies twice, but plan to go to this one again. It was sweet and funny - with several "laugh out loud" scenes. Go see it!!!

I truly enjoyed the movie. It was a combination of a love story, story about family and future and the reality of a false impression of family and friends. "Away We Go." is sure on my recommend list.

Don't waste your money - just talk with no real feelings - I was disappointed.

Save your money. Total dud. Pointless borefest. We gave it 30 minutes and bailed. No story. Not entertaining. Even worse: It actually gets worse as it goes.

Nothing short of amazing. I was astounded with Maya Rudolph's acting! Of course John Krazinski was great as well. Characters throughout movie were memorable and I am in love with the fact that they are so incredibly in love with one another. I'd see it again and again!
