Plot Summary
The New Jersey NETSationals are definitely not ordinary professional basketball hip-hop dancers. Composed of one man and 12 women (all senior citizens), the NETSationals team is, in fact, the first of its kind in sports history. Director Dori Berinstein tackles this unusual topic by starting from the ground up, following the 13 determined dance hopefuls from their initial tryouts all the way to arena glory, crafting an inspiring view of people following their hearts and overcoming the odds.

  • A chipper documentary sure to please seniors. show more

  • Would be just another disposable, albeit touching, distraction if its subtext didn't hint that growing old in this ageist society is a bitch. show more
