Iron Man 3 sparks into Theaters starks Out of all the movie premieres I've been too, this particular one was very…different. Like any other movie premieres', the movie usually has a 12:00 a.m. showing on the premiere night but Iron Man 3 showed at 10:00 p.m. We arrived at the theater an hour and an half early because we thought the line was going to be long and packed. We were baffled to see at the ticket booth that there was no line outside the door. Nobody was at the concessions stand, nothing, it was like a ghost town in there. Once we were directed to the designated theater of the movie, us and plus a few other people, we were the only ones in there. When we sat down, we had another hour and fifteen minutes until the movie started. We were there way too early. Once it hit about 9:50 p.m., that’s when a lot of people start coming in the theater and by the time the movie started, the theater was packed. The title screen opened with the familiar flipping of different superheroes from the Marvel comic books turning into the big red and white Marvel logo. The movie opens with main character flashing back to a 1999 New Year's Party, when the very young, handsome, and bad-mannered Tony Stark (Iron Man) first meets Aldrich Killian. He tries to recruit him to his company Advanced Idea Mechanics. Killian fails to get Tony on board and the result of broken his promises; Killian is left on the roof embarrassed. That situation started the bomb that would blow up in Tony's face, fifteen years later (present day). Throughout the movie, Tony Stark is battling with insomnia, inability to fall asleep and panic attacks that ties back to his experience Avengers movie. That’s the least of his problems. The character of Iron Man goes through a huge character change when the bomb of Killian blows up with the creation of the Mandarin. Stark has to battle the Mandarin along with his obsession of the Iron Man suits. Stark has to choose between his suits, his prized possessions, or Pepper, the one person he can’t live without. When Stark has no access to his suits anymore, he has to use his brain to make weapons out of scraps. With his world crashing all around him, he comes to the realization that he is Iron Man with or without the suits. At the end Iron Man he destroys all his suits and gets the shrapnel removed from his chest showing his dedication to Pepper. The graphics, animations, and the plot line, in my opinion, were amazing. I really love how the story picks up after “The Avengers”; it gives the movie a little bit of background. The graphics and animations are so surreal that it makes the viewing audience feel as they too can also be a superhero. I
