Not worth the effort. No originality whatsoever. A cross between the Matrix and Independence Day.

Thought it was a very slow moving jumble of special effects for the first half hour. After that the plot thickens and the action is still over the top, but has purpose. Overall a good movie if you have the patience to stay with it 1/4 to 1/3 of the way through.

Wow this is an awful movie. As a science fiction love I had such high expectations and was brutally disappointed. There are only about 5 people in the whole movie with Tom on the screen most of the time. Convoluted, contrived CGI doesn't help the story as all. I want my 2 hrs. back please.

Great Story. Tom Cruise scores again. Well worth watching for the special effects alone! Impressed, as usual, with Morgan Freeman's performance; it seems effortless and genuine.

Good plot, good dialog and enough special effects too support what's happening in the movie. Worth the price of admission and a must see for a sci-fi fan.
