  • Looks aren't everything. Case in point: Sucker Punch, a dazzling visual design that goes tone-deaf every time it opens its dumb mouth or makes claims to profundity. show more

  • Though Zack Snyder is known as an action director, he is a genuine artist and one of the most exciting and promising filmmakers to emerge in the past 10 years. His new movie, Sucker Punch - let's just say it - is a failure, but there's so much talent on that screen that the movie can't be dismissed as a waste of time. show more

  • Hands-down the most nightmarishly awful film of the year. show more

Typical teenage boy\'s favorite movie with a twist of intriguing plot and a semblance of quality writing.

. V Sorry, about the censors in my review below. I was trying to say half - undressed girls or under-dressed girls since apparently "n-a-k-e-d" is a terrible word. . . . V

Scary really If youve lived any \"tough life\" at all you have to be able to relate to this movie. If you look beyond the outfits which seem to draw the eyes of most critics instead of the underlying sense of hopelessness and empowerment and loss, it seems like a scifi romp with some sexy women. The situation these women are in is an \"animated\" but terrifying real life story for many young woman the world around. If you havent experienced anything that happened in the first 15 minutes of the movie yourself keep your limited views limited. Great job all the way around. Loved Carla Gugino!
