This movie was the worst pile of horse manure I ever went to see. It had good special effect and CGI so if only it had a storyline and acting worth a crap. I say don't even wait for Netflix. Just don't bother seeing this at all!

This was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It deserves zero stars..... I wish I could have my 82 minutes back :(

The New York Times
At one point Ben helpfully looks under the house to see what might be causing the ruckus. "Watch out for spiders!" Kelly says. Actually, Ben - and the filmmakers - have a lot more to worry about. Full Review

Time Out New York
The Apparition turns out to be nothing more than a series of feebly constructed "Boo!" scenes tacked together to achieve (barely) feature length. Full Review

The Playlist
A plodding, undercooked, and old-fashioned (not in a good way, either) chiller that will bore you to tears instead of scare you to death. Full Review
Joe Leydon
Variety
This enervating muddle of paranormal nonsense manages the difficult feat of seeming frenzied and lethargic all at once, while building toward the sort of ludicrous cop-out climax that often incites die-hard genre fans to shout rude things at the screen. Full Review
John DeFore
The Hollywood Reporter
Lincoln's script has no knack for the pacing of cinematic exorcisms, and the truncated climax he does offer is short on action and scares. Full Review
