This epic war movie was similar to one other epic war movie...Saving Private Ryan. Both movies were 5 stars in their own right. Wonderfully produced and directed in their portrayal of real men fightin... g against horrendous odds struggling to survive in a life and death situation. Oh the humanity of it.....what our fathers and grandfathers endured back then makes our daily struggles pale in comparison. If even one 15 minute segment of either of these movies came close to their portrayal of real action in WW2 then the courage those men exhibited makes my life's accomplishments pale to near insignificance.
