Has anyone seen it more then me? I have a record of over 35. :)
a good thriller. in a way it is for teens and in a way it is not. i think that teenagers tend to like little more "gore" in there horror movies, which this did not have, but i also think the actors and plot would appeal more to teenagers. alot of screams and jumps in the theatre i was in and it was veryy suspensful, although there were no real "twists"or anything. go see
This movie was ********* more for people that have never seen a scary movie. But this movie was touching and a little scary at the same time!!!
i thought it was alright...you definatly have to see the original ones tho first.. nothing can beat those
*********** it but know it sucks

McCormick's Stepfather boasts a decent script by J.S. Cardone, but it seems to have been made in a bubble, as if nothing had transpired in the world of slasher/horror since the late Donald Westlake ("The Grifters") wrote the much-respected original. Full Review

Tthe film is all of a piece, a handsome, thoughtfully crafted production that generates a mounting terror securely anchored by assured performances, consistent psychological persuasiveness and believable dialogue. What's most chilling about The Stepfather is that it was inspired by an actual incident in New Jersey in 1971. Full Review
