It's been more than a year since Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced that they were separating, yet the couple still has not filed for divorce. According to a new tabloid report, that's because they've officially put those proceedings on hold.

Us Weekly reports that "talk of divorce has ceased altogether" between Garner and Affleck, who revealed back in June 2015 that they were breaking up after 10 years of marriage. Sources tell the tabloid that that's because there are still strong feelings between the pair.

"Jen mentioned that the divorce was going through very soon, and then a few weeks ago, things changed," a source told Us. "It does not seem to be moving in that direction. ... Jen seems to still be in love with Ben but doesn't allow her mind to go there. She just focuses on the kids."

The exes have apparently been trying to keep things normal for their three children, and are still living under the same roof (but sleeping in separate bedrooms). Garner even briefly moved to London with Affleck and the kids while the actor was shooting "Justice League" overseas earlier this year.

Another insider told Us that Affleck is also still very much in love with Garner.

"If it was up to Ben, they would be together," the source said. "He feels like he can't live without Jen."

That lines up with what other sources told People back in May, when it was reported that Affleck was desperate to get Garner back.

Obviously the best source is either Affleck or Garner themselves, but since they're not talking, we'll be taking this latest report with a grain of salt for now. Yet another insider claims that the couple had always planned to take their time filing divorce papers. We'll see if said documents ever materialize.
