When Negan brings his big bad self to Alexandria for the first time on "The Walking Dead" Season 7, fans will have to suffer through that unwelcome house call for an extra 25 minutes.
The Season 7 premiere, Episode 2, and this Sunday's November 6 Episode 3 have all stayed around the one-hour mark. Only the "Talking Dead" episode after the premiere was supersized to 90 minutes. But for the November 13 Episode 4, called "Service," AMC is extending the action from 9 to 10:25 p.m.
That's the scoop from SpoilerTV, and the 85-minute time is confirmed by local listings. Here's the synopsis Zap2it has for "Service":
"The remaining members of the group try to keep it together in Alexandria; they receive a sobering visit."
It's Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Probably being rude to poor Olivia, among others. Bet he didn't even call first to say he was coming. (Nice potential foreshadowing with the bars, though.)
This Sunday, "The Cell" is scheduled from 9 to 10:01 p.m., following Daryl Dixon as Negan's new prisoner at the Saviors's base. We may not see Rick Grimes and company at all, until this highly anticipated Episode 4.
There's a spoilery character episode guide listing when characters will reportedly appear, and it looks like most of the cast -- including Daryl, Dwight, and the Alexandria crew -- will be in Episode 4. We may have to wait until Episode 5 to see Maggie and Sasha at Hilltop, then we should check in with Tara and Heath in Episode 6. It could be a while before we see Carol and Morgan again, like possibly the Episode 8 midseason finale.
Are you excited, nervous, or neither for this extended episode of "The Walking Dead"?
