Liam Neeson's quest for vengeance doesn't seem like it's ending anytime soon.

The actor's next film is "Hard Powder," a revenge thriller set in the Rocky Mountains, according to Variety. Neeson stars as Nels, a decent and moral snowplow driver who is named Citizen of the Year by his wealthy Colorado town. But everything changes when his son is murdered by a local drug kingpin.

As the official synopsis reads: "Fueled by an unwavering drive for vengeance and armed with heavy machinery, this unlikely hero sets out to dismantle the cartel with extreme prejudice, and he's not stopping until he gets to the top of the food chain."

Production begins in March in Banff, Alberta, and other locations in Canada, but Variety reports the movie is likely to be a very hot item for buyers at next month's Berlin Film Festival.

Neeson, of course, is the king of the revenge thriller, but the movie's producers tease that the role is "a slightly more modern spin" on his previous work in "Taken" and "Non-Stop" and features "a touch of wry humor." Guess being funny is now a very special skill.
