It's a bird. It's a plane. It's Rick Grimes surviving "The Walking Dead" Thunderdome.

Last night's Season 7, Episode 10, "New Best Friends" was a shippers' paradise, with Rick getting Michonne some new cat kitsch, and Daryl reuniting with Carol (and lying to her -- even though she did ask him directly for an update on everyone back "home"). But the biggest mystery of the episode involved a tiny moment during the Scavengers junkyard reveal, when Rick was talking to Scavengers leader Jadis. Fans noticed something moving in the background. Many thought it was a plane, either mistakenly flying past the editors or as an intentional story addition. Others thought it was just a bird, saying there were other birds elsewhere.

Because Twitter misses nothing, it became a thing:

(The show films in the Atlanta, Georgia region, even though it's now set in the Alexandria/Washington, D.C. area.)

No one from AMC has weighed in at this point, but we're going with the bird assumption. It makes sense for birds to pass over a junkyard, and if it was THAT easy for fans to spot a plane, someone in the editing room probably would've caught an actual airplane ... unless the plot is about to take an even more random turn than usual and someone out there is flying planes over D.C. Maybe that's what happened to Heath?

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
