Some people just have "it." And in Netflix's trailer for half-hour dramedy "Girlboss," Sophia Amoruso (Britt Robertson) is one of those people.

The series is based on the real-life story of Sophia, founder of the Nasty Gal fashion brand. Sophia starts out by buying secondhand clothing in vintage shops, then flipping them for insane profits on eBay. And when online backlash forces her off that site, the savvy budding entrepreneur decides to begin her own online venture.

"Go ahead, underestimate me," she brags at one point. "I've got it all figured out."

It certainly seems that way, at first, as Nasty Gal takes off. But in the real world, the company eventually went bankrupt, so the glitz and glam of Sophia's life can be taken as a cautionary tale.

"Girlboss" begins streaming April 21 on Netflix.
