Werewolf or Smurf?

For Joe Manganiello, who as the sexy werewolf Alcide Herveaux on "True Blood" and now the voice of Hefty on "Smurfs: The Lost Village" knows a thing or two about both, says there's really no question: In terms of acting gigs, there's nothing hard about going blue.

"Hard is 4 in the morning in Malibu in the winter time when it (feels) below 20 degrees two days in a row and you have to do a fight scene naked on 'True Blood.' That's difficult," he tells Made in Hollywood reporter Kylie Erica Mar. "Rolling up to Sony for a couple hours in your sweatpants to make everybody laugh and have a great time as this tiny little blue guy, that's the greatest job in the world."

Costar Demi Lovato agrees, saying she jumped at the chance to do the animated feature.

"I was like: Absolutely. It's Smurfette. And it doesn't take a ton of hard work to do such cute characters," she says. "I do wish that performing (on stage) was as easy as playing Smurfette. I will say that. But my friends all think it's cool."

The stars also found that if you spend enough time in the Smurfs' world, you start to feel like one, to the point they have Smurf names for each other.

Lovato says of Manganiello: "I would name him Romantic Smurf."

"I'll take that," he says
