Last night, the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history left at least 58 people dead and more than 500 injured at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas. A lone gunman opened fire at the festival, where 22,000 people where enjoying country music acts.
This disturbing video shows Jason Aldean performing while shots can be heard in the background:
Jason Aldean, his wife Brittany Kerr Aldean -- formerly of "American Idol" -- and their fellow music stars reached out with shock, condolences, heartbreak, and prayers after the shooting.
Tonight has been beyond horrific. I still dont know what to say but wanted to let everyone know that Me and my Crew are safe. My Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved tonight. It hurts my heart that this would happen to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what should have been a fun night. #heartbroken #stopthehate
