This time, it definitely wasn't a bird.

Back in February, "The Walking Dead" Season 7 introduced Rick Grimes, and viewers, to creepy Jadis and her creepy Scavenger friends. During one scene, way in the background, fans spotted a flying object. Most thought it was a plane. A few thought maybe it was just a bird. There was debate on whether it was intentional or an editing gaffe.

Fast-forward to November and Season 8's Episode 5, "The Big Scary U." Late in the episode, Rick heard a noise and looked up, seeing a helicopter fly overhead:The heck was that about? Rick has gone to CrazyTown in the past, so we can't rule out another Rick hallucination.

However, it's possible that helicopter is connected to the glimpse last season, teasing a storyline to come. On that note, it's also possible, as some comic book fans have speculated, that the helicopter is an early Easter egg nod to an upcoming volume of the "Walking Dead" comic, called "New World Order."

Maybe? We'll find out.

"The Walking Dead" Season 8 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
