The fallout from the Harvey Weinstein scandal continues.

The disgraced Hollywood producer had a run-in with an angry man while dining out in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Tuesday. A TMZ video released Wednesday shows the man, whose name is reportedly Steve, slapping Weinstein twice. The man also told Weinstein to "get the f--k out of here" and called him a "piece of sh--t."

Weinstein checked into a treatment facility in Arizona after dozens of women came forward in October with allegations of sexual harassment and assault. (Weinstein has denied any claims of non-consensual sex.) He was dining out at Scottsdale's Elements restaurant when the man attacked him.

The producer didn't retaliate after either the slaps or the insults. The video shows that Weinstein moved along while his sober coach tried to get the person filming to stop. His coach eventually gave up and followed Weinstein out.

Steve had reportedly approached Weinstein earlier in the evening to take a photo, but the producer declined. Steve told TMZ that Weinstein was rude about it, but a restaurant manager disagreed; Steve and Weinstein were seen shaking hands during their initial encounter. Both sat back down, and Steve admitted to TMZ that he then had "quite a bit to drink" and decided to have his friend film him as he approached Weinstein again.

Steve wasn't clear on what exactly motivated him to go after Weinstein. While he did call him out for his treatment of women, to us, the fact that Steve had asked for a photo and then got his friend to film the encounter smacks of wanting attention, too. Either way, he's lucky Weinstein opted not to call the police.
