OK, if you had to pick one, which "Home Improvement" or "Last Man Standing"?

"Last Man Standing" was in the headlines last year because ABC unexpectedly canceled it after six well-rated seasons. Tim Allen was vocally upset, and he'd still like to return as Mike Baxter. However, Entertainment Tonight also asked him about his other very popular TV show, "Home Improvement," which ran for eight seasons (1991-1999) on ABC.

Since a "Roseanne" revival with the original cast is launching on ABC later this month, ET asked Tim Allen if he and everybody else from the "Home Improvement" cast might come back for their own revival. Here's his answer:

"I can't say about everybody, but it has been floated. They floated the idea. And more than I would have expected said, 'Yeah, that would be cool to do it years later,' like 'Roseanne.' [...] I like that idea. I still miss 'Last Man Standing.' We didn't get our seventh year. I adored that show. It's like having a new dog and now to go back to the old dog? I don't know. I like both characters, but yeah, I'd be very interested in that idea."

So a "Home Improvement" revival has been "floated" to the original cast and may actually happen. That revival is probably more likely than anyone bringing back "Last Man Standing." (Fans are still pushing for "Last Man Standing," though, with more than 430,000 signatures on a Change.org petition to save the show.) But considering the negativity between Tim Allen and ABC in the past year, would he really go back to the network for anything?
