It's double the trouble, double the fun in the new "Ant-Man and the Wasp" trailer.

"Maybe you just need someone watching your back, like a partner," declares Scott Lang's daughter. And she's right. In the sequel to the 2015 Marvel movie, Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) has teamed up with Hope Van Dyne aka the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), and two is definitely better than one.

The trailer definitely has a more light-hearted, jokey tone than most other Marvel films, especially the recent and very gloomy "Avengers: Infinity War." "Ant-Man and the Wasp" actually take place before "Infinity War," so it's not weighed down by the massive events that happen in it.

The story follows Scott and Hope's attempt to enter the Quantum Realm to rescue her mother, Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer). Of course, their mission is complicated by the fact that Scott is on the run after the events of "Captain America: Civil War."

Ant-Man and the Wasp" opens in theaters July 6.
