Acceptance hasn't been an easy stage of grief for "13 Reasons Why" fans to reach. Even though Katherine Langford's character, Hannah, has been dead since the very beginning of the Netflix series, people still weren't ready to goodbye to her for good after the show's second season.

Jimmy Kimmel is one of the people wondering why there isn't a way to bring Hannah back. The late-night show host had Langford as a guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Wednesday, and he wanted to know if there could be some kind of Jon Snow solution, alluding to how the "Game of Thrones" character played by Kit Harington was brought back to life in Season 6. Kimmel's idea made the Australian actress laugh, and she told him, "I mean, I'm down."

Of course, the actress wasn't really seriously. "13 Reasons Why" isn't a fantasy series, and there aren't priestesses who can bring high school students back to life. Langford joked that she'd come back as a zombie, but then clarified that she was kidding.

"I shouldn't say that," she said.

Langford has already said her goodbyes to Hannah and the show. She shared a moving Instagram post in late May, writing, "This show will always be a special part of my life, and regardless of whether Hannah is there or not, I know that I will continue to strive to do work that is meaningful and has a positive impact - whether that be in film, music, or any other form of art."

Alas, it's sad, but the show will go on without Hannah.

"13 Reasons Why" Season 3 will arrive in 2019; "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT.
