It's super brief. But it exists.

It's just nice to see that Amazon hasn't forgotten about "The Man in the High Castle."

The first episode of the dystopian series -- based on the 1962 novel by Philip K. Dick -- came out in January 2015. The rest of Season 1 arrived in November 2015. Season 2's 10 episodes streamed December 2016.

Amazon gave Season 3 a green light in January 2017, announcing that Eric Overmyer ("Bosch") would be the new showrunner, replacing Frank Spotnitz, who made a sudden departure in the middle of Season 2 production.

That was a year and a half ago.

Now, Amazon has finally given us this brief #ResistanceRises tease for Season 3, along with a premiere date of "fall":

Fans reminded the streamer that they've been waiting a looooong time for this:

According to Deadline, "The Man in the High Castle" broke streaming records for Amazon in Season 1, and Season 2 premiered with the most viewers over its debut weekend of all scripted Amazon Original Series.

So getting Season 3 to fans has to be a priority. But we'll still have to wait a bit longer for a more specific premiere date.
