Way to go, Mr. Feeny!
William Daniels, 91, who starred as strict teacher George Feeny on "Boy Meets World," foiled an attempted burglary at his home in the Los Angeles area Saturday night.
The actor was at his house in the San Fernando Valley with his 89-year-old wife, Bonnie Bartlett when someone forced open a back door, according to ABC7.
Daniels' quick thinking -- he turned on the lights in the house -- scared off the would-be intruder.
"Luckily, Mr. Daniels was able to frighten away the person and the LAPD quickly responded," the actor's publicist said in a statement to ABC7. "They are both well. Mr. Daniels thanks all his fans for their concern."
Will Friedle, who played Eric Matthews on the ABC sitcom, had Daniels' back on Twitter, warning, "Don't ever mess with Mr. Feeny!"
That, of course, lead to a glorious thread of Mr. Feeny gifs.
Daniels also starred on "St. Elsewhere" (for which he won two Emmys). His film roles include a singing-and-dancing John Adams in the musical "1776" and Dustin Hoffman's father in "The Graduate." He was president of the Screen Actors Guild from 1999 to 2001.
In 2014, he reprised his role as Mr. Feeny in "Girl Meets World," the sequel to "Boy Meets World."
And oh yes, he was also the voice of KITT on "Knight Rider!"
