Brexit, 2016's other shocking political event, is getting its own movie.

HBO released the first trailer for "Brexit," which stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Dominic Cummings, the man who led the Vote Leave campaign resulting in the U.K. voting to exit the European Union.

“Everyone knows who won,” Cumberbatch says in the trailer. “But not everyone knows how.”

Cummings uses cunning to "hack the political system" by using social media to stoke fears about race and immigration and encourage a desire “to return to a time when we knew our place, when things made sense, fictional or not.” Sounds somewhat similar to the other big political event of 2016.

Rory Kinnear also stars as Craig Oliver, Prime Minister David Cameron’s director of communications and head of the Remain campaign.

"Brexit" premieres Saturday, January 19, at 9 p.m. on HBO.
