Veronica Mars -- and her taser -- are back.

Hulu shared a clip of Mars (Kristen Bell) today ahead of the series revival.

In it, Veronica runs down all the problems you can run into Nepturn. And one handy tool for dealing with most of them: Her taser.

The new iteration of the CW show premieres on Hulu on July 26. It will debut before that at ATX's Television Festival in Austin in June.

All three seasons of the original series will be available on Hulu once the new limited series debuts.

The season’s official synopsis: "Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry. After Mars Investigations is hired by the family of one of the victims to find their son’s killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave’s wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast's answer to Daytona Beach."

Many of the show’s central cast will be returning, including Ryan Hansen, Enrico Colantoni, Ken Marino, Percy Daggs, and Jason Dohring. Series creator Rob Thomas is also returning.

Oscar-winner JK Simmons ("Whiplash") joins the series as a dangerous ex-con named Clyde Prickett who served 10 years for racketeering. He now works as Big Dick Casablancas (David Starzyk)'s fixer.

Also new to the show, Patton Oswalt, Clifton Collins Jr. and Izabela Vidovic ("The Fosters," "iZombie").
