The "Fast and Furious" franchise is racing to Netflix.

DreamWorks Animation announced it is developing "Fast & Furious: Spy Racers" for Netflix at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival.

This is the latest collaboration between the two companies; Netflix recently ordered DreamWorks' "Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous," another animated spinoff of a billion-dollar franchise.

"Fast & Furious: Spy Racers" follows teen Tony Toretto, who is following in the footsteps of his cousin Dom (Vin Diesel in the films).

Tony and his friends are recruited by a government agency to infiltrate an elite racing league serving as a front for a nefarious crime organization bent on world domination.

The show is expected to debut later this year. DreamWorks released a short teaser video:
