Brett Webb Biography

Brett Webb is a London-based producer, BBC Film alumnus and founder of Aligned Rebellion, a film and television company dedicated to emotionally authentic storytelling. He has over 18 years of experience producing music videos, commercials, and short films, with a focus on new talent and distinctive voices. Brett began his career at the iconic production company Partizan, where he rose through the ranks from Office Manager to Producer.

Starting in the music video department, he worked with directors such as Michael Gracey, Nima Nourizadeh, and Tom Beard, learning how to make budgets work creatively and help bring a director’s vision to life. He later moved into the commercials department, producing work for brands including Apple, Nike, Samsung, and Adidas, gaining extensive experience shooting worldwide.

Over the years, Brett has produced eight short films with emerging and award-winning directors, including Dominic (Lucy Tcherniak & James Willis), A Generation of Vipers (Tom Beard), White Girl (Nadia Latif), Isaac and the Ram (Jason Bradbury), and G Flat (Peter Darney). These films have screened at major festivals including BFI London Film Festival, BFI Flare, Iris Prize, Sundance London and Raindance, and won Best British Short at Dinard.

They’ve also appeared on platforms such as BBC, Channel 4, Shudder, Apple TV, Amazon, and Curzon Home Cinema. His first experience in feature film came as Executive Assistant to Line Producer E. Bennett Walsh and Director Otto Bathurst on the $100M Lionsgate/Appian Way production Robin Hood, living and working on location in Hungary. He later spent two years at BBC Film as a Production Manager across the feature slate and as a Production Executive on their short film slate, helping to oversee a wide range of projects including Blue Jean, Femme, Pray, Muna, The Outrun, and The End We Start From.

In 2026, Brett’s debut book, a self-help memoir hybrid, will be published. He is currently adapting the book into both a feature film and a television series, while developing a small slate of projects at Aligned Rebellion.
