Carlos Obregón Biography

Carlos Obregón is a visual storyteller and cinematographer from Santander (Spain). With a sharp eye for detail and a multi-disciplinary approach, Carlos made his directorial debut with the documentary "La Vie est un Cirque" (2025), premiered at the Casyc Theater. As a Director of Photography, his portfolio includes the upcoming short film "Mátame, cornudo!" (2025), distributed by Coco Films, and the visual narrative of "Perdona que te moleste" (2024).

His versatility extends to music videos—directing official visuals for the band False Pretense—and high-end corporate content for organizations such as TEDx, Fundación Caja Cantabria, and the fashion brand Zabaleta. A self-taught expert in advanced post-production, sound, and color grading, Carlos recently showcased his technical mastery as the colorist for "El Contrato" (2026).

He currently has his own production company called Mangrove Pictures, alongside executive producer Daniela Calleja.
