Cindy Díaz Biography

Peruvian film, theater, and television actress. Bachelor of Science and Arts in Communication with a specialization in Performing Arts from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. Winner of the Best Performance award at the Nox Film Fest (Uruguay) for her portrayal of Cindy in the Chilean film Análogos. Winner of the APRECI (Peruvian Association of Film Critics) award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Sheyla in the award-winning film Rosa Chumbe.

In 2012, she starred in the Spanish film Evelyn, for which she received a Goya Award nomination for Best New Actress. She also appeared in the films El Evangelio de la Carne, Contracorriente, and Planta Madre. On Netflix, she starred in the series El Último Bastión, where she portrayed the iconic Manuela Sáenz. On television, she worked in Colombia on the telenovela Todo Es Prestao.

She played Marjorie in the Peruvian telenovela "Solo una Madre" and Milagros "La Caperuza" in "Al Fondo Hay Sitio." Her most recent telenovela is "Luz de Esperanza," where she played Rebeca. In theater, she has starred in plays such as "Savia" at the Teatro La Plaza and "La cándida Eréndira y su abuela desalmada" at the Teatro Británico. Her most recent works include "Titus Andronicus" by William Shakespeare, where she played Lavinia, and "The Just Assassins" by Albert Camus, where she played Dora.

She currently has two films awaiting release: "Amor Erizo" and "La Niña del Azúcar," and the play "Actos Consentidos" at La Plaza.
