Paolo Laganà Biography
Paolo Laganà (they/them), born in Italy on October 28, 1986, is an Italian film director. Their passion for filmmaking began early, leading to the creation of several experimental short films on Super 8. They later lived in Bucharest, Romania, contributing to numerous films, including those by Radu Jude, Corneliu Porumboiu, and Andrei Gruzsniczki. Paolo lives and works in Berlin, where they studied at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB).
Their artistic practice centers on queer culture, exploring themes of identity and abandonment.
