Rachael Lillis Biography
Rachael Lillis was one of the original English voice actors on Pokémon. Her most notable roles were that of Misty and Jessie. She had provided both of their voices as well as several additional roles until the end of the eighth season, when Pokémon USA and TAJ Productions took over the dubbing and distribution of the series. Both of her main roles were taken over by Michele Knotz.
She returned to the series in Lost Leader Strategy! as Maylene, making her the first main cast member from the 4Kids dub to return to the series. She eventually left again, her last roles being Sunflora and Shinx in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time & Darkness. She died on 10 August 2024 in Los Angeles, California, USA from Breast Cancer.
