Sharif Amer Biography
An Egyptian TV presenter, who started his career as a translator in several press institutions, such as: Rosa Al Youssef, and Al Alam Al Youm. He was selected among the first crew for the channels Nile International and Nile News. In 2001, Amer assumed the position of Program Manager in the Cairo office of MBC, then moved to the United States, where he worked for Alhurra News Channel for four years.
After that, he returned to Cairo, where he worked on Al Hayat channel, presenting the program Al Hayat Al Youm. In late 2013, Amer moved to MBC again with the program Happening in Egypt. He appeared in a number of productions as himself, including the movie Forced Escape, and the series Maemon & Co.
