Stig Salming Biography
Stig "Stygge Stigge" Salming, born October 15, 1947 in Salmi in Jukkasjärvi parish, Kiruna municipality, is a Swedish former ice hockey player and coach. Stig Salming's parent club was Kiruna AIF, but he is most associated with Brynäs IF, for whom he played in the years 1968 to 1981. Then he won six SM golds. He is the brother to Börje Salming
