Tessa Lyn Biography

Tessa Lyn is the critically-acclaimed, world record-setting actress/screenwriter who became a film auteur and the first female to make a feature film on the iPhone. By age 3, Tessa was active in Girl Scouts, gymnastics and dance; and frequently found herself winning large scale public coloring contests. Tessa's adolescent years were spent attending public schools and staying active in hobbies like choir, dance, ice skating, soccer and yearbook.

While out dancing with friends, Tessa was scouted to perform as a principal model/dancer for French NBA Spurs Player, Tony Parker, and his debut hiphop music video "Balance-Toi". Tessa fell in love with being on set and went on to grace magazine covers and billboards as a model while studying at 7 different acting studios to create her own "secret sauce.

" Tessa began booking leading lady roles in films such as "The First Born," "Diamond" and "The Madness Within" while lending her talents to commercials for Apple, Nike, Dodge and Dish Network. Tessa's deeply rooted passion for cinema didn't take long to open doors for her as a screenwriter where she was chosen to adapt Kate Adamson's miraculous true story from her book "Paralyzed But Not Powerless" for the big screen.

While continuing to evolve as an actress, now actress/screenwriter, Tessa honed improv comedy skills at UCB while showcasing her comedic versatility on the show "Barbee Rehab." With the advent of Apple's first smartphone featuring a 4K camera, Tessa began crafting short films on her iPhone using limited budgets to experience firsthand what life is like for a majority of audiences.

After learning how to surf those foreign waters, Tessa began searching for the ultimate challenge and began competing in timed-filmmaking competitions to polish skills as a filmmaker and learn how to create under extreme pressure. Tessa loved the higher level of pressure and quickly won awards for each project she created as the star/writer/director.

Driven to earn a spot in film history books, Tessa set out to create a movie that would inspires audiences to not only overcome their fears but incite them to push beyond self-perceived limits. Tessa's treacherous filmmaking expedition began through essentially crafting a feature film backwards by using the self-made short films she created in 2017-2018 as the film's foundation while filming new scenes with a fresh plot to weave them together.

Keeping her eyes set on the moon, Tessa committed to embodying the movie's main character, Daisy Blaine, both in front of the camera and behind it in order to bring the craft of filmmaking to new heights for humankind and show theater audiences something they've never seen before. Tessa's efforts to become Hollywood's first real-life movie magician began with her, from 2017 to 2022, spending 90% of her time in solitude, offline, where she worked devotedly by herself inside a private production studio slowly learning all the different aspects of making a feature film, prior to the emergence of AI.

It was in these moments.. frame by frame, pixel by pixel... as Tessa learned and executed dozens of different production and post-production roles, Tessa achieved what is said to be one of, if not the, largest performance by a motion picture artist of all time.
