Vince Gerardis

Vince Gerardis is a producer. Gerardis began his Hollywood journey in 1995, representing a roster of acclaimed science fiction and fantasy authors. As a manager-producer, he helped develop and package more than 8,000 titles, proving that the imaginative worlds of genre literature could yield some of the most commercially and critically successful film and television projects.

Operating under his management company, Created By, Vince was pivotal in elevating science fiction and fantasy within the entertainment industry. Over the past two decades, Vince has built a multifaceted reputation as a literary manager, IP creator, producer, world-builder, and writer. He has negotiated more than 1,000 deals and pioneered innovative models for copyright and content rights management.

Among his distinguished clients are genre icons like George R.R. Martin, Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, and Terry Pratchett. As a producer, Vince has established strong working relationships with A-list talent, writers, directors, and fellow producers. He earned four Primetime Emmy Awards and was a key force behind major projects, including HBO’s groundbreaking Game of Thrones and ABC’s Flash Forward.

A voracious reader with a deep knowledge of genre literature—having read over 2,000 science fiction and fantasy works—Vince brings a rich creative sensibility to every project. His ability to analyze industry trends and narrative potential allows him to strategically position IP for success in a rapidly evolving marketplace. In 2015, Vince founded Startling, a library-driven development and production company focused on high-end, world-building entertainment.

Through Startling, he is currently developing dozens of film and television projects, continuing his mission to discover and shepherd compelling genre stories from page to screen.
