Yudhistira Bayu Biography
He is an amateur short film director from Indonesia who made his debut in 2017 while still in college. His passion for filmmaking was inspired by his late grandfather, who loved watching and reviewing action films, as well as his own lifelong interest in exploring a wide range of movies and Japanese manga. Through his production house, Nightskies Features (formerly Nightskies Pictures), he has written and directed genre films that have been showcased on YouTube and at various international independent short film festivals, earning several awards.
He cites many Japanese films and directors, including Koji Shiraishi, Takashi Shimizu, and Dario Argento, as major influences on his work.
