Plot Summary

Filmmakers from all over the world collaborate in a film that offers differing perspectives on the September 11 terrorist attacks that targeted New York City and the nation's capital in 2001. Sean Penn, Ken Loach, Mira Nair and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu are among the 11 directors who contributed to the project, and their short films -- each of which are 11 minutes, nine seconds and one frame of film in length -- reflect on cultural differences, love and personal tragedy.
