They get married and spend their days happily together until Yuriko admits to being Takizawa’s lover. Yoshikawa is unwilling to lose his job and wife, so he forgives Yuriko; however, Yuriko is randomly killed by an unknown man. After the incident, Yoshikawa is a mess, but his former high school classmate-turned-yakuza, Takahashi helps look after him. Every woman that Yoshikawa meets appears to him as Yuriko. After committing a certain crime, Yoshikawa gets a sentence of two years in prison. Upon release, he gets a job from Takahashi as a debt collector. He goes to collect money from a woman named Mizuki who he’s astonished to find looks exactly like Yuriko. Looking closer, he sees her parents in the house, grotesquely attached together in a lump of flesh." .
