Plot Summary

In the 1990s, dancer and choreographer Paul Taylor is working on a piece called "Piazzolla Caldera." Director Matthew Diamond captures the debut of Taylor's new work and explores the personality of the man behind the dance steps. Taylor's volatile nature often comes out in his interactions with his dancers, but interviews backstage with various sources portray the many sides of his personality. Diamond also captures vital moments such as the Taylor dance company's trip to India.
