After a custody battle, 11-year-old Elli is finally allowed to return to her mother. That same week, the final rehearsals are underway for the school play MAUSI, in which she plays the lead role. At first slowly, then more and more frequently, disappointments begin to surface, forcing Elli to confront a reality that doesn’t live up to her expectations.
