REMEMBER MY NAME follows Mo, a teddy bear separated from the child he has just begun to love during the rescue of the Danish Jews in October 1943. Forced to flee toward Sweden, Mo witnesses fear, loss, and the quiet courage of ordinary people who risk everything to help others. Told through Mo’s innocent eyes, history becomes deeply personal. Without dialogue, the film offers a child’s perspective on war, rescue, and the extraordinary compassion found in ordinary people. Inspired by the director’s own family history, REMEMBER MY NAME is a story about remembrance. About the bond between a child and a teddy bear, and about the courage of those who, in the darkest of times, chose to help others: reminding us that humanity can endure even when hope seems lost.
