Plot Summary

A failing European family circus comes close to unraveling under the increasingly desperate actions of the despotic owner, Bruno (Nehemiah Persoff). Trying to please his father, the family black sheep, Klaus (Robert Vaughn), throws over his highwire-walking sweetheart, Carlotta (Margia Dean) for Teresa (Renata Mannhardt), the beautiful animal trainer whose father owns a competing circus Bruno wants to take over.
